College of Human Ecology

Human Ecology Ambassadors

The mission of this organization is to promote the College of Human Ecology to alumni, friends, prospective students (and their families) and current K-State students. Ambassadors represent the College of Human Ecology during college- and university-wide recruitment events on and off campus. Potential ambassadors should have the desire to represent the College of Human Ecology in a positive manner and are expected to demonstrate leadership by participating in as many high school and transfer student recruitment events (i.e. browsing fairs, panels, high school junior and senior days, new student orientation and enrollment, etc.) as possible each year. It is not required that interested students have extensive knowledge about the college and its academic programs as it is all provided during formal training and weekly meetings. For additional information please contact Madaí Rivera, advisor, at madai@k-state.edu or 785-532-5500.
