Autumn is upon us and the fall semester is well underway!
The Professional Mentoring Program has had an excellent start in its first semester, thanks to the many volunteer mentors and enthusiastic students participating!
On Saturday, October 4, the College of Human Ecology will be hosting the Hospitality Tent from 4-6 p.m. in Cat Town (2 hours prior to kick-off with Texas Tech). This is a free event (do not have to have football tickets) and everyone is welcome. There will be food and fanfare, as well as a chance to possibly connect with your mentee face-to-face! The hospitality tent is located to the southwest of the football stadium in Cat Town. Please plan to stop by, as I would love to meet you! If you are planning to be in town, invite your mentee to meet you at the tent. The next College of Human Ecology Hospitality Tent event will be on October 25, two hours prior to kickoff. Mark your calendars!
There are a number of articles and resources about mentoring. One I would like to share is The Art of Asking Questions. Check it out! If you come across helpful articles, please feel free to send them my way and I will post them for all in a future Mentor Connection.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Professional Mentoring Program or your mentee, please contact me.
