Kile, who received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kansas State University in early childhood development, is also training and curriculum specialist for Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities in Manhattan.

“It is my mission to engage, foster, and inspire others to expand upon their knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices within early childhood education. I am also an advocate of quality care and education for young children,” she said.

She was selected by a national committee of early care and education leaders based on leadership, roles, knowledge base and spirit.
