Taylor named classified employee of the year

Kansas State University's Becky Wolfe Taylor has been named Classified Employee of the Year in the College of Human Ecology.

Taylor is office manager at Campus Creek Complex which houses the Speech and Hearing Center and the Family Center. Both are in the School of Family Studies and Human Services.

Her work involves client services, managing the office staff and training work study students. She also handles undergraduate and graduate advising documentation as well as graduate applications for communication sciences and disorders.

“She is proactive, thoughtful and has a thorough understand of how the needs of the centers, academic programs, clients, students and faculty must be balanced,” wrote Robert Garcia, speech and hearing center director, in his nomination letter.
