Professional Biography
Dr. Lim earned her B.A. and M.A. in Consumer Science from Seoul National University and her Ph.D. in Family Resource Management from The Ohio State University. After she received her degree, she worked as a senior researcher at Samsung Life Insurance in Seoul, South Korea. Recently, she joined Kansas State University as an assistant professor in Personal Financial Planning. She will be teaching courses in both the B.S. and Ph.D. programs.
Dr. Lim's research areas include college students' financial wellness and the household financial decision making. Her research has been published in Journal of College Student Retention: Research, Theory, & Practice, Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning, and Journal of Financial Therapy
