Early Childhood Education: Bachelor’s Degree Distance Program

Do toddlers amaze you with their quick learning and funny observations on life? Early childhood education is the place to be if you want to work as a teacher or administrator in early care and education programs for children from birth to age five. Many graduates are employed as certified lead teachers in public, corporate, military or nonprofit childcare centers, while others pursue graduate work in early childhood education. The first years of a child’s life are the most essential to learning and development. Here’s your chance to make a big impact everyday of your life!

How It Works

Those needing to complete an entire bachelor’s degree can take approximately 72 credit hours through K-State distance education. The remaining 62 credit hours must be completed at a local community college or another institution and transferred to K-State.
