As a student in the College of Human Ecology, you’ll get a well-rounded, broad-based education that will expand your mind, sharpen your problem-solving skills and enhance your critical thinking abilities. It will help you become someone who can thrive and contribute anywhere, anytime. You will be ready for whatever life throws at you. And employers will come after you. People who solve problems, think critically and make connections are the ones who really add to the bottom line.

If you join us in Human Ecology, you’ll take courses in all kinds of things—languages, sciences, math and history, for instance—as well as courses in the subjects that target your personal career plans. You will have so many courses to choose from, it’ll be no problem for you to find those that will really appeal to you. Our degree programs will prepare you to choose from many different career options, and other programs are more tailored for a specific path. Either way, it’s your choice to make.

Here’s the thing: an education from the College of Human Ecology can prepare you for almost any career. It can also prepare you for any life. A human ecology education will set you up to contribute, to be heard, to make a difference. And who doesn’t want to do that?
