Ways to Give

You can provide assistance to people with communication and/or swallowing disorders in a number of important ways.

Sertoma Hearing Aid Recycling Program (SHARP)

The mission of the SHARP sponsorship is to provide reconditioned hearing aids to low-income persons. Requests for additional information about ways to donate equipment to the program should be directed to Dr. Robert Garcia.

The TLC Trust: Touching Lives through Communication

The TLC Trust honors K-State faculty and students who improve lives every day through their clinical work and research in communication sciences and disorders. Investments in the fund provide necessary dollars for scholarship assistance, enhanced student learning experiences, student recruitment, professional development experiences for faculty and staff, equipment purchases and facility and technical enhancements in the K-State Speech and Hearing Center.

For more information about ways you can support the K-State Speech and Hearing Center, the program in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and/or the Department of Applied Human Sciences, email Jeff Haug, Director of Development.
