Monday, June 23, 2014

Two faculty members in the College of Human Ecology have received awards from the K-State's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.

Jichul Jang, hospitality management and dietetics, received a faculty development award for the research project "Development and Pilot-Test of a Short Education Module that is Designed to Enhance Emotional Intelligence of Hospitality Management Undergraduate Students."

Bradford B. Wiles, School of Family Studies and Human Services, is a University Small Research Grant recipient for the research project "Building Relationships and Applied Storytelling for Teaching and Learning across Generations."

Their research, scholarly and creative activities, and discovery proposals were peer-reviewed by a cross-cut team of K-State faculty members. Both will receive monetary assistance for their proposals.
