Eight faculty members promoted

Sixty-three Kansas State University faculty members are receiving promotions in rank, while 40 faculty members are earning tenure. The promotions and tenure go into effect at the start of the university's 2015 fiscal year on June 8.

Those in the College of Human Ecology are:

  • Melody LeHew, apparel, textiles, and interior design, to full professor;
  • Sonya Britt, family studies and human services, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor;
  • Kim Hiller Connell, apparel, textiles, and interior design, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor;
  • Gayle Doll, family studies and human services, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor;
  • Hyung-Chan Kim, apparel, textiles, and interior design, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor;
  • Brian Lindshield, human nutrition, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor;
  • Richard Rosenkranz, human nutrition, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor; and
  • Kevin Sauer, hospitality management and dietetics, earning tenure and promotion to associate professor.
