Students earn research forum honors

Several Human Ecology students were winners at the 2013 K-State Research Forum March 27.

Erin Monfort-Nelson, master's student in apparel, textiles and interior design, received second place in the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education Oral Presentation division.

Patricia Barros-Gomes, doctoral student in marriage and family therapy, received second place in Social Sciences, Humanities and Education Poster competition.

Kelsie Doty, apparel, textiles and interior design, received third in Undergraduate Oral Presentation.

A total of 107 students participated; 18 undergraduates and 89 graduate students.
