Mary Molt awarded prestigious Silver Plate

Mary Molt will receive one of the food service industry’s most prestigious honors May 7 at the 58th annual Gold and Silver Plate Awards Celebration in Chicago.
The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association bestows Silver Plate awards annually to those who have made outstanding and innovative contributions to food service operations. Molt, an assistant professor in hospital management and dietetics, is honored in the colleges and universities category. Eight other awards in other areas of food service were named.
Molt, who has worked in housing and dining services for 34 years, serves as adviser for Kappa Omicron Nu National Honor Society for Family and Consumer Sciences. She is the author of "Food for Fifty.”
In 2008, the National Association of College and University Food Services named a scholarship for her.
