Top academic students earn honor cords

Seniors received academic honors in a special presentation before graduation ceremonies Friday, Dec. 10, in Justin Hall.

Awarded summa cum laude honor cords are Taylor M. Allen, nutrition science; Hannah Michal Clauson, family studies and human services; Courtney Held, human nutrition and dietetics; Rebekah Lynne Splitter, FSHS, and Aarynne Danae Struble, human nutrition and dietetics. The students graduate with a cumulative grade point average of 3.95 or higher during their academic career grade at K-State.

Graduating magna cum laude, with a 3.850 to 3.949 K-State academic average, are Marcela Gonzales, nutrition science; Sara Romayne Lynde, FHSH; Abbey Dawn Norris, nutrition and kinesiology; Laura Ann Romig, dietetics; and Kathryn N. Tilley, FSHS.

Students earning a K-State cumulative grade point average of 3.750 to 3.849 and graduating cum laude are Krystin Matuszewicz, FSHS; Rebecca Richardson, dietetics; and Brittany Faye Staten, early childhood education.
