April 20 lecture: Living with dementia

A dementia and Alzheimer’s lecturer coming to Kansas State University will give a personal account of his life with the disease.

Richard Taylor is a retired psychologist, award-winning author and renowned speaker. He has lived with dementia — most likely Alzheimer’s disease — for the past decade. He will present “Be With Me Today” from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Forum Hall in the K-State Student Union. The event is free and open to the public.

Taylor is the author of “Alzheimer’s from the Inside Out.” He has found that thinking, speaking, and writing about what it is like to live with this condition has become his life’s purpose. More information about Taylor is available at his web site.
