Hospitality management students win scholarships

The Wichita chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food has awarded more than $5,000 in scholarship to hospitality management students at K-State.

The students are: Juan Carlos Mendoza, senior, $1,500; Shannon Rowe, senior, $1,000; Alisha Ernst, senior, $1,000; Robert Tibbetts, seniors, $1,000; and Brett Engleman, freshman, $750.

The students in the Department of Hospitality Management and Dietetics garnered more than half of the chapter’s 2009 scholarship money statewide.
