Highberger tapped for Silver Key
Mindy Highberger, apparel and textiles, has been selected for membership in Silver Key, a sophomore leadership honorary emphasizing community service.
Young to assist new students
Danielle Young, junior in family studies and human services, will be a 2009 orientation leader to inform new students about resources, activities, services and facilities available at K-State.
HE students dance in spring
Among the students participating in the spring dance program at 7:30 p.m. April 3 and 4 in McCain Auditorium are:
- Ashley Shaff, junior in dietetics and public health nutrition
- Roy Burkhalter, freshman in public health nutrition
- Kelly Marshall, senior in kinesiology and dietetics
- Nora Shook, junior in nutrition and kinesiology
- Melissa Porter, junior in communication sciences and disorders
- Erin Duffy, junior in apparel and textile marketing
Junior sings in Europe
Erin Ayers, junior in family studies and human services, traveled to Europe in March with the Kansas State Concert Choir. The choir represented the state of Kansas at the 2009 American Celebration of Music in Vienna and Prague. The students presented three major concerts: St. Nicholas Church in Prague, St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna and the Minoritenkirche in Vienna.
