Romig selected for ADA post

Laura Romig has been selected to serve as vice chair of the American Dietetic Association’s student committee.

Romig’s term on the 8-member 2009-2010 Student Council Advisory Committee begins in June. The junior in dietetics will attend the ADA Leadership Institute June 11 to 14 in Dallas, TX, a face-to-face meeting of the Advisory Committee in Chicago in July, and the ADA Food and Nutrition Conference and Exhibition in Denver in October.

The council represents the interests of all dietetic students and interns. More than 20,000 students are enrolled in Didactic Programs, Coordinated Programs, Dietetic Internships, and Dietetic Technician Programs.

Romig  is president of K-State’s  Student Dietetic Association.
