When a Telefund student calls, say “sure”

Human Ecology students will call alumni and friends of the college the last week in February, asking for contributions to fund urgently-needed scholarships.

Last year the Telefund brought in more than $160,000. Students hope to top the amount this year.

Ninety percent of the funds go toward scholarship and 10 percent for recruitment.

Calling will be from noon to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22; and from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, through Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Students volunteer their time to make calls.
