Goff, Rivera broaden reach

Two members of the dean’s office staff are doing double duty this year, using their expertise to help university-wide programs.
Briana Nelson Goff is interim director of assessment through Aug. 3, 2009. Director Cia Verschelden is on a leave of absence as visiting scholar with the Higher Learning Commission. Goff, associate professor of marriage and family therapy, continues her duties as associate dean in Human Ecology.
Madai Rivera, academics services and diversity coordinator in Human Ecology, is working also as coordinator for Hispanic recruitment for the university’s admissions office. She joined the dean’s office staff in 2007.
