Canter, Morcos, Goff star in podcasts

Three faculty members present messages on podcasts newly available from the K-State’s Media Relations.
Deborah D. Canter lectures on “Value of Membership in Professional Associations.” She is 1991 CASE/Carnegie Kansas Professor of the Year and professor and department head of hotel, restaurant, institution management and dietetics.
Sharon Morcos, instructor in human nutrition, talks about “Politics of Food.” She teaches basic nutrition to hundreds of students a year both on campus and through distance learning.
Briana Nelson Goff offers “How Trauma Can Affect Family Relationships” and “Counseling Communities Through a Crisis.” Goff coordinates the Kansas All-Hazards Behavioral Health Program that helps educate those responding to disasters. Goff also is associate dean for academic affairs and associate professor of family studies and human services. She leads the Trauma Research, Education and Consultation at Kansas State University (TRECK) Team.
