K-State’s Pinnacle honor society welcomes more than 50 new members

MANHATTAN — Kansas State University’s chapter of the Pinnacle Honor Society gained more than 50 new members at an induction reception April 23.
Pinnacle is a national honor society for nontraditional students who are juniors or above and have at least a 3.0 grade point average.
The ceremony included congratulatory remarks by K-State’s Elizabeth Unger, vice provost for academic services and technology and dean of continuing education; Carla Jones, assistant vice president and senior associate dean of student life; and Nancy Bolson, director of adult student services.
Inductees also will be recognized in the online virtual ceremony created by K-State’s Division of Continuing Education at http://www.dce.k-state.edu/pinnacle/
The Web site includes an introductory letter from Frank Julian, president of the national honor society, as well as a virtual ceremony with remarks from Unger and Jones, a message board and an online reception area.
