Rain, snow won’t close doors on K-State’s All-University Open House Saturday

MANHATTAN – Just like the postman delivers the mail through rain, sleet or snow, Kansas State University will deliver its annual All-University Open House – despite forecasts for inclement weather.

Most activities for K-State’s All-University Open House, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, are indoors on the campuses in Manhattan and Salina, so forecasts for rain and snow won’t stop the fun. Even if it is wet or snowy outside, open house visitors will still be able to enjoy a variety of free exhibits, displays, activities and entertainment in buildings across both campuses.

The All-University Open House is a chance to explore both K-State campuses and find out more about the university’s more than 250 academic majors and programs, nearly 400 student organizations, on-campus housing options, Greek life, financial aid and more. K-State students, faculty and staff also will be available to answer questions and talk about K-State.

A complete listing of open house activities on the Manhattan campus is available at: http://consider.k-state.edu/openhouse
