The Department of Hospitality Management and Dietetics offers graduate programs which lead to a master of science or a doctor of philosophy. The department is one of the oldest in the College of Human Ecology. The first M.S. degree was granted from the department in 1921; the Ph.D. program began in 1975. Students are allowed to focus their program of study on foodservice or hospitality management.
