School of Family Studies and Human Services

Welcome!

The School of Family Studies and Human Services is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. We do this through research, teaching, engagement, outreach, service, and clinical intervention. Our faculty of nationally and internationally recognized scholars and educators provide learning experiences for developmentally informed practitioners, researchers, and educators to serve Kansas, the nation, and the world.

Our classrooms and laboratories can be found across five buildings on the Manhattan campus, at Kansas State Polytechnic and reach across the world through Global Campus. Our faculty, staff, and supervised student specialists provide direct services and outreach to enhance the health and well-being of individuals and families through K-State Research and Extension, Hoeflin Stone House Early Childhood Center, the Speech and Hearing Center, the Family Center, the Institute for the Health and Security of Military Families, a Financial Therapy clinic, and Riley-Geary Counties Domestic Mediation Services.

We offer exciting programs via traditional and distance education formats that address human needs through a holistic approach. Come for a campus visit. Stay for an undergraduate or graduate degree. Earn a graduate certificate to enhance your skills. Develop a career devoted to enhancing the well-being of individuals and families.

We welcome you to the School of Family Studies and Human Services.
