Short Biography
I was born in Bethesda, Maryland in 1951 and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, graduating from St. Stephen’s Episcopal High School in 1968. My father was a high school teacher after retiring from the Navy as a World War II veteran who fought in 15 sea battles. I have been married since 1979 and have seven children. We live on a 20-acre farm northeast of Manhattan, raising goats, sheep, chickens, guineas, cattle and other livestock.
