Short Biography
Mindy Stafford Markham, Ph.D. grew up in the Manhattan area and received her B.S. in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University. She then went to the University of Missouri to earn her M.S. and Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. She came to Kansas State University in 2008 to serve as coordinator for the K-State Salina Family Studies and Human Services program. She teaches courses in the undergraduate FSHS program on the K-State Salina campus and courses for the graduate program on the Manhattan campus. Her primary research interest is post-divorce relationships, particularly coparenting relationships between former partners. Additional research interests include gender issues within families and family structure stereotyping.
