9th Annual ATID Symposium

The ATID Student Co-chairs are excited to announce the 9^th Annual ATID Student Symposium, The Business of Design Thinking, sponsored by the AT and ID advisory boards. The ATID Student Symposium brings accomplished professionals in the apparel and interior design industries to be featured speakers at K-State and to expose K-State to the significance of each industry. We are pleased to present to K-State this year’s keynote speakers, Ms. Jo Staffelbach Heinz and Mr. Dave Dreiling, who will be addressing the topic of the strategic positioning of design and business.

ID student symposium co-chair William Fisher said, “As part of the student planning team I am thrilled to be able to bring professionals in the industry to speak to and inspire K-State students. When I see the passion that the speaker has it gives me motivation to pursue my career interests, and I hope other students will feel the same as well.”

The symposium allows students the opportunity to network with alumni and connect with executives working in the apparel and interior design industries.  “AT student symposium co-chair, Sarah Budke said, “I am happy to be a part of the planning of this event and excited to bring K-State alumni and professionals to students allowing us to enhance our professional growth.”

All K-State students and faculty are welcome to attend the keynote speaker presentation at 9:30 a.m. on April 5^th 2013, in the K-State Student Union in Forum Hall.

Schedule of Events

A registration fee is required to reserve a seat at the networking luncheon. All other events are open and free to the public. If you would like to attend the networking luncheon, please register here. Deadline is Monday, April 1, 2013.
