Intergenerational Service-Learning
This project, funded by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education and Generations Together/University of Pittsburgh, introduced intergenerational service learning into the Seminar in Gerontology course. It was one of first 10 funded proposals selected from among those submitted by universities, colleges, and community colleges with gerontology curricula. Additional Institutions have participated in later years. The KSU project involved community partners as well as a focus group of older adults and KIN: the Intergenerational Network.
