For more information about gerontology at Kansas State University, please review our gerontology studies options and contact the Center on Aging at (785) 532-5945 or . You may also access the Kansas State University course information page for catalog course descriptions and other information. Students who intend to complete the Secondary Major in Gerontology or the Secondary Major in Long-Term Care should contact the Center on Aging advisor to officially add this option to your university studies. To ask about careers in the field of gerontology, schedule a student advising appointment and/or to review your progress toward completing the gerontology studies options, please contact Pam Evans at (785) 532-5945 or . All graduating students must complete a graduation clearance with Pam Evans the semester prior to graduation.
Students please note: Internships within the student's primary major may be used as a 3 credit hour elective toward the Secondary Major in Gerontology if the placement is in an aging-related organization and with prior approval of the Center on Aging. Contact Pam Evans for more information on the requirements.
